  • Data Developer (September 2015-November 2017) – build data tools, such as election result system and document uploader, and manage vendor tools, such as Datawrapper and Maps4News, for all 30 McClatchy newsrooms; created company-wide communities for data journalists and news developers; lead training sessions for D.C. bureau; advise local newsrooms on data and investigate projects; occasionally create or collaborate on custom graphics, such as health care vote predictions, power outage search tool and refugee map
